Data Deletion Request

As MES YAZILIM ANONİM ŞİRKETİ ("Mes Yazılım"), we respect your right to request the deletion of your personal data under KVKK Art. 11. You may request the deletion of data you have shared with us or that is processed by us via the WhatsApp Business Cloud API using the steps below.

Which Data Is Deleted?

  • Your WhatsApp phone number
  • The contents of messages you have sent us and that we have sent to you
  • Sending timestamps, message status, message identifiers
  • All log records relating to you

How to Submit a Request

Including the following information in your e-mail will help speed up processing:

  • Your first and last name
  • The phone number you used to communicate with us via WhatsApp (including country code)
  • The scope of your request (all data / a specific date range, etc.)

Alternative: Opt-Out via WhatsApp

As a simpler alternative, you may opt out of our communication list by sending "STOP" or "DURDUR" in your WhatsApp chat with us. If you also want your data to be deleted after opting out, please notify us at the e-mail address above.

Processing Time

Your request will be processed within 30 days at the latest after it reaches us. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. You will be notified by e-mail when the operation is completed.

Exceptions

Records that we are legally required to retain (tax, commercial, legal evidence, etc.) and data necessary for the resolution of an ongoing dispute may be kept until the end of the legal retention period. During these periods, the data is accessed only for the relevant legal purpose.
